Welcome to Greenbrier!!! Greenbrier is nestled within the City Limits of New Bern, North Carolina, in the southwestern quadrant of US Highway 70 and US Highway 17. These are the two major arteries that access New Bern from the North, East, South, and West. Greenbrier is situated less than 7 miles from Coastal Carolina Regional Airport which connects with Charlotte and Atlanta airports. You will quickly notice Greenbrier’s easy access to a vast array of support services. Many residents often brag about the abundance of prized local endeavors as well as national retail operations located right around the corner.
Our next-door neighbor is Craven Community College. Just down the street is an abundance of shopping opportunities, restaurants, and medical offices. Within a few miles, you will find the award-winning Carolina East Hospital and New Bern’s vibrant historical center with its one-of-a-kind shops, art galleries, restaurants, two live-theater venues, library, city and county government services, marinas, historic homes, and Tryon Palace.
We’re close to Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point as well as Marine Base Camp Lejeune. About an hour away lies the Atlantic Ocean with its beaches, Maritime Museum, and Fort Macon State Park, a restored Civil War coastal fort.
Greenbrier is a community of 670 homes set along winding roads among mature trees. Some lots are lake-front, and many overlook The Emerald Golf Course with its Olympic-size swimming pool and tennis courts. We have a mix of free-standing homes on suburban lots; smaller patio homes with included landscape care, as well as townhomes with all exterior maintenance and landscape care included. There is even a handful of undeveloped lots left where you may build the home of your dreams.
